The Archery program at LVSA really took off in 1951 with purchase of the 90 acre tract of land across the road from the LVSA clubhouse. Since then our members have maintained a practice range and have cut a few miles of trails for our 3D archery shoots.

Our archery team hosts 30 position 3D archery shoots that are open to the public. You are welcome to join us on the first Sunday of the month from April through August. Archers can start the course any time from 7AM to noon. See the "Archery Events" section of our web site for details.

The range is open from 8AM to dusk for our members. Members may bring one guest to the range.

Our practice range is set up with bag style targets at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 90 yards.

Safety is always our primary concern on any Lebanon Valley Sportsmen range. Anyone acting in an unsafe manner will be subject to removal from the grounds and their membership can be revoked if they continue to display poor safety procedures.

Always review the rules posted on the range each time you arrive.

Members may only use field tips on the LVSA targets. No broadheads are permitted to be used on our bags.

If you wish to shoot broadheads, you may bring your own target as long as it will prevent any arrow or bolt from passing completely through it.

Paper targets, foam targets, balloons, bag targets, and other targets that do not leave debris may be used.

All shooters must use a common firing line and keep their equipment pointed in a safe direction at all times.

Coordinate arrow retrieval with your fellow members if there is more than one member using the range.

Always be aware of your target and what is beyond it.

There is no stump or random shooting permitted on the grounds.

Parking is not permitted in front of any cables, gates, or access roads.

If you use the picnic tables on the practice range, please move them away from the firing line when you are done with them.

Please use the available trash receptacles for any debris.

Please see the Archery page for 3D shoot information, range closings, and other special events.

See you on the grounds!
